Description: What I presume to be an early 1911L (due to its size) with only one cap band, perhaps to denote that it has a 14k gold nib instead of a 18k or 21k gold nib, this pen was made sometime between 1981 (the start of the 1911 line) and 1992 (this pen does not appear in the 1992 Sailor catalogue) Reminiscent of its post war A-type predecessors in shape, but not size, this Sailor 1911L is chonky with a wonderful medium nib.
