NOTES:

Reminiscent of the larger Urushi Balance type pens (though not as large as the Custom 743) manufactured by Pilot before the Second World War, the Pilot Custom 742 invokes the economic rise of Taisho Era Japan during the roaring 20s. The Pilot Custom 742 shares the same legendary quality of nib as its pre-war predecessor, but with a cartridge convertor filling system for modern convenience for work or play.
